Howdy, I'm Jennilee
I used to believe I was just a Jill of all trades, now I know it is just a part of my ADHD. Throughout this journey, I have found a love for photography, writing, typography, graphic design, and voice acting (and adding tid-bits in parenthesis when I write).
The majority of my work is self-initiated. My photography thus far has been of people who know me or seniors whom I've taught.
I've been a storyteller since I was a kid. My mom, a retired teacher of 30+ years, read to me all the time. From her example, I have learned the art of reading a story aloud. My goal is to continue this through narration and voice-acting. It is a fun way to use my talents I share with my children nightly.
My commission work primarily consists of outdoor photography where I try to capture the moment and the personality of each subject.
I am currently a mom, a high school yearbook adviser and I teach Commercial Photography and Intro to Graphic Design/AV. Over the past 13 years I have instilled a sense of integrity and drive in my students for photography and writing in a journalistic sense.
I am hoping to show them, through my own experience, how these skills can help them be successful in the real world; and how to have some fun doing it.
